HLAC 1096 – Lifelong Wellness Application Paper
Write a paragraph on each of the following:
1. What did you learn about “lifelong wellness” from taking this activity class?
What I learned from this activity class is that consistency is key to maintaining a
healthy life style and body. Understanding how to manipulate your body and life
style in order to live a healthy life is important and the key to it all is remaining
dedicated to and developing a schedule to keep. Challening yourself with new
goals and eating habits is also important for a healthy lifestyle so it doesn’t
become boring and repetitive.
2. How would you apply this information to your life?
I would apply this information to my life by practicing and repeating what I
learned, such as consistant workouts and not compromising my time for others
instead of working out. By developing my eating habits I can maintain a better life
style and many benefits that eating healthy offers. Maintaning a workout
schedule will help me as I grow older and as I move forward cause it keeps me in
physical fit condition and makes me less likely to develop diseases.
3. What is your intention to continue to exercise in your life and why?
I have every intention to continue living a healthy life style after this course. At 20
years of age working out and eating healthy is an investment into my future and
older age, good habits start young and carry on for a long time. I intened to
continue my life style for the sole purpose of living a full and eventful life.
4. General ideas for improving this course?
Overall the course was great and I have very few suggestions. The only one suggestion I would have is more due dates so students don’t accidentally forget there is work to do other than workout and eat healthy. Other than that one suggestion this course helped me start a very good habit of working out and scheduling my meals out for the week.
