To whom it may concern
I am a highly motivated 19 year old who has had experience in engineering due to the JATC Engineering program through high school. This program helped students learn and understand what engineering is and what it entails, from 3D CAD drawings and IDW's to manufacturing the product using 3D printers, laser engravers, and building it to spec by hand. my entire senior year in this program challenged a team of students including myself to invent or innovate something throughout the year, including all documentation, drawings, measurements, resources, costs, testing, and prior patent research, the product we had to make had to meet the requirement of having never been made before. While I was in this program I also participated in the FIRST robotics competition in which a team of students are challenged to build a robot in 6 weeks to complete a specific task, from climbing pyramids that are 10ft tall to playing Frisbee golf at the same time. This competition also challenged students to create 3D computer models and business plans for awards and a chance at the nationals competition. I participated as a programmer, builder, designer, and 3D CAD designer. I would love the opportunity to work for your company as it will allow me to continue with my passions while I am also pursuing my degree in engineering.
My resume is enclosed for further review and consideration. I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you regarding opportunities you have available currently or in the future.
Sincerely,
Tryston Taylor
Table of Contents
Technical Description (Click to Expand)
The Technical description sample writing is used to demonstrate a clear and concise yet detailed description of an object, item, technology. I used the canon VIXIA video camera as it has a wide array of features and details that make a technical description worth having. The audience to a technical description would be a potential buyer or company looking to invest into a product. The objective of a technical description is to win over or persuade a person to invest or buy the product.
Instruction Documentation (Click to Expand)
The CPR instruction document is aimed at those who need to learn CPR quickly or in a tense situation. The title is aimed to get the eye of someone who needs to know what to do in an emergency, the audience is also aimed at those who need to learn quickly or in an emergency. The instruction document is kept simple and detailed so as to avoid wasting someones time when its a crisis.
Technical Report (Click to Expand)
The Technical Report sample of writing is a condensed version of a year long project that a team of students, including myself, were to invent something and follow design and documentation procedure followed by a report and presentation at the projects completion. Due to the shear size of the final report and data collected over the course of that year the report is rather large, upwards of 80 pages, so for the report on this page the majority of graphics and quite a bit of information have been left out but enough remains for the purpose of this portfolio, the whole report will be available for download if your so inclined. The Dolly2.0 Report covers the entire process and all documented information that was taken over the course of that year and developed into a concise and well developed engineering technical report. The audience for this report was the Jordan district school board but the audience can also be a patent office. The purpose of the Dolly 2.0 report was to have complete documentation in a single medium, and to demonstrate the success or failure of the project. The title for the Project "Dolly 2.0" is to just simply state that the project was to reinvent the moving Dolly. (due to technical problems with the original document being corrupted and recovery not allowing images to be recovered the whole document will be available for download at a later date)
